SHIU19R XT PD-M8100 Pedals
With the release of Shimano's new XT group comes updated pedals as well. Though these cross-country oriented pedals aren't vastly different than the previous generation, that's a good thing, because they were already really good to begin with. What has changed is a slightly wider platform for better stability under your riding shoes, as well as an offset binding that improves mud-shedding capabilities.

So far, so good
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
Not sure why exactly but I’ve long used Crank Brothers. I have zero complaints about Crank Brothers other than durability. I’m basically rebuilding the pedals every year or so. I switched to the Shimano XT on the basis that they’re set and forget. We’ll see how that holds up but so far so good.

Tried and true
My 4th set of these pedals. You can't go wrong with them. Gives you alot of float if you want it.

Great Pedals
Not much to say, they consistently release every time, well-made, I don?t think you can go wrong with these petals.

Just what you would expect from Shimano XT level components. I would buy these pedals again.
